Portreath Harbour Association (PHA) hold their monthly meeting on the first friday of every month (except August) at the village institute, (opposite the garage), at 8pm, everyone welcolme. If your interested in the running of the harbour or wish to enquire about a mooring come along.

ANGLING COMPETITION
The Portreath Harbour Association Charity One Day Boat Angling Competition held Sunday 14th August. Pictured at the weigh in at the Waterfront Inn, Portreath is competition winner Mark Stimpson (centre) recieving both first and second prizes from the Chairman of Portreath Parish Council Ken Bowden (right), as Harbour Association Chairman Colin Reed (left) holds Mark's winning fish, both Red Gurnards. Nine anglers from Portreath took part , sailing from the harbour on the early morning tide and they raised £175 which will be divided amongst the RNLI, CLIC and the Precious Lives Appeal. Harbour Association Chairman Colin Reed commented "the weather was kind to us and it was a very succseful competion, so we are now hoping to make it an annual event.
